Jenna Jameson was born Jenna Marie Massoli in Las Vegas in 1974 and began performing in the early 1990s. She is the rare adult performer who became famous with people who did not watch adult films. ClubJenna, the 2004 memoir How to Make Love Like a Porn Star, and a stretch of late-night and tabloid visibility put her outside the usual performer economy.
The 1990s Wicked and later ClubJenna titles are the filmography people still search. Awards and hall-of-fame mentions accumulated as the business moved from video stores to the internet, but the biography is really about crossing over and then owning a studio rather than about a single trophy.
