Biography
Mia Khalifa is a Lebanese-American media personality who had a short, unusually famous adult-film run. She was born Sarah Joe Chamoun in Beirut on 10 February 1993 and moved to the United States as a child. She later earned a degree from the University of Texas at El Paso. The screen name combines a pet’s name with a public nod to the rapper Wiz Khalifa.
She entered adult video in October 2014, first appearing for Score and then for Bang Bros. A hijab-themed Bang Bros scene released that autumn made her an international search term within weeks. Pornhub listed her as its top performer by December 2014. The same scene produced a political and religious backlash in parts of the Middle East; her parents publicly distanced themselves. The on-camera career itself lasted only a few months and a few dozen scenes.
Industry awards were secondary to the traffic. She was nominated for an AVN fan award in 2016 and won a DVDErotik “Tits of the Year” title in 2017. IAFD lists performing years of 2014–2018. After leaving regular shooting she built a second public life as a sports commentator, streamer and social-media figure. Search interest in the name stayed high for years after the last new scene.
